The origin of our ESG marketing agency

Friends of the oldest and dearest sort who founded a copywriting business together; Jake and Dan met at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, UK.

After university, Dan moved to Barcelona where he spent time teaching English and selling laptops for Hewlett Packard. Jake put his political expertise and social conscience to good work in jobs for the likes of Greenpeace and DeHavilland, eventually settling in Utrecht.

Jake wrote a memoir with his dad: “The E, The Whole E and Nothing but the E”, and Dan edited it. They realised that together they could help others communicate their goodness. There were companies out there doing good work for people and the planet who had stories to tell but needed help to say to them and persuade prospects that what’s good for the earth is good for business too.

They started Other One so anyone with the spark of an idea might make themselves understood.
